Arcadia Ceiling

The two ceilings in this custom-built home comprises of nearly 15,000 lineal feet of solid rift-sawn white oak boards. MADE was hired to help design, engineer, fabricate, and install the mounting systems and finished ceiling boards throughout. Each light, speaker, and sprinkler head had to be accurately located within 1/16” to fit within the pre-defined pattern of these boards. All HVAC and air flow occurred above the visible ceiling, which is backed with a black fabric to allow air flow and sound absorption. All in all, this project took five months to complete.
